Foundation Portfolio rough edit - "One by One"
Feedback:
- sound needs attention (make sound levels right with music up and ambient sound down a bit)
- more sound layers to really intensify things as flashbacks begin to happen
- sound effect when can gets slammed down could really help bring intensity
- slow motion to give those sinister shots more time?
- credits could be over black screen and could insert some thriller conventions by use of blood dripping or red font that nods to the thriller/ danger vibe
- static doesn’t really work
- sound needs to be much more sinister as your ‘victim’ walks downstairs, music is still too neutral
- sound FX moments for intense ‘boom’ or impact moment when door closes / when door opens with hooded guy – that sound effect can be much more suspenseful
- play around with sound at the end and maybe an effect on it as the girl is dragged away
- credits needed
- The flashes are extremely effective- builds the suspense really well when they are paired in time with the music
- storyline was clear and easy to follow- while still holding mystery behind who the killer is
- The title was really well done
- The music choice was really effective although some of the sound levels could use some alterations- make it a bit more smooth.
- your music at the beginning is quite loud compared to the background chatter and noise- maybe adjust it a little bit.
- The reveal of the cards is really well done- with the beat of the music..
- looking greattt- cant wait to see the end result!!
